Smart glasses, side by side

OSAWALLA vs Meta vs Rokid vs Even.

Four smart glasses, one table, no adjectives. Every figure below comes from each manufacturer’s own published specifications (checked October 2026). The four products are built on different ideas — camera-first, display-first, AI-first — so the table shows what each pair actually is, not which one wins.

How to use this page

Three questions worth answering first.

Camera or display? This is the fork in the road. Meta and OSAWALLA are camera-first (point of view video, no screen in your view); Rokid and Even put a display in the lens and Even skips the camera entirely. Pick the interaction you want before comparing specs.
What the budget buysThe four entry prices run from $79.99 to $549. The question is which single ability you will actually use weekly — camera, translation or on-lens display — and paying for that one, not for the longest feature list.
Battery is per-featureAdvertised hours assume mixed use. Recording video drains faster than music; a live translation session drains faster than standby. Compare runtime against your heaviest single feature, not the average day.

Where OSAWALLA sits

Camera-first, translation-first, no display tax.

OSAWALLA glasses sit in the same camera-first category as Ray-Ban Meta — point of view video, open-ear audio, voice assistant — with two differences visible in the table alone: live translation in 100+ languages, and the entry price ($69.99).

Frequently asked questions

OSAWALLA Daily records 1080p video with an 8 MP sensor, Ray-Ban Meta (Gen 2) records 3K video with a 12 MP sensor, and Rokid Glasses include a 12 MP camera. Even G2 has no camera at all — it is a display-first pair of glasses.

No. All four brands work with a one-time purchase and no monthly membership. Some AI features on competing brands may be tied to platform accounts, but none of the four requires a paid subscription for the hardware to function.

Rokid Glasses use a waveguide heads-up display and Even G2 uses a micro-LED display for notifications and captions. OSAWALLA and Ray-Ban Meta use open-ear audio instead of a display — information is delivered by voice.

OSAWALLA Daily starts at $79.99. Ray-Ban Meta Gen 2 lists from $379, Even G2 from $499, and Rokid Glasses from $549.

OSAWALLA glasses are rated IP65 — sweat and rain are fine. Ray-Ban Meta Gen 2 is IPX4, and Rokid and Even are splash-proof. None of the four is built for swimming or showering.

Sources & scope

Specifications are taken from each manufacturer’s own published product pages and support documentation, checked October 2026. Prices are advertised list prices and change frequently; “Meta” refers to the Ray-Ban Meta Gen 2 collection, and “Even” to the Even G2. OSAWALLA products are consumer electronics, not medical devices. Nothing on this page is sponsored, and no ranking is implied — the table exists so you can weigh the numbers yourself.
